About IIMA Alumni Association (IIMAAA)
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad Alumni Association was established in 1967 to foster Institute-alumni relationships, and thereby to advance the objectives of the Institute. It is headquartered at the IIMA. All those who pass out of the Institute, and are eligible for alumni status, are its members. The IIMAAA may maintain and regulate Chapters within India and abroad. It has an Executive Committee (EC) which manages its affairs. The EC consists of one elected member from each Chapter, up to 10 members nominated by the Institute, and three ex-officio members (Director, Dean [Alumni] and Administrative Officer of the IIMA), with a President, Vice President and Secretary elected from among the EC members. The EC decides on the recognition or de-recognition of a Chapter.
